Why Everyone Should Try Their Luck In The Lottery
The most sought after and the rarest of commodities is money and it is almost a must for one to labor hard to earn some. Humans need money for their day to day expenses and that means that it forms an economy where the rare commodity controls.
Luck in lottery games and betting is the other way that one can earn money without really laboring hard for it. The instinct of luck develops due to the need for more and more of money and that hence causes the human mind to have a belief that they can win the most sought after prize.
Without focusing much on the minimal chances to win, individuals with the instinct spend on buying lottery tickets wishing that their luck may come calling. For the lucky few, this goes well but for the other population they lose what they had spent on the ticket but live to yearn for winning on another day.
The media in the event that someone wins in the lottery focus on how they win and the way their lives end up after the money but fail to consider what the lives of those people looked like before they won and what drove them into trying. That happens not knowing that the stories prior to the event are fascinating and need to be told to the world.
One such story is that of a man in Croatia who had survived a brush with death for a total of seven times before being lucky another time and winning the lottery. Mr. Frano Selak won the lottery at 73 before which he had faced and survived death in a train crash, plane crash, bus crash, being hit by a bus, twice when his car caught fire and a cliff fall. Luck had favored the man a lot in his life and when he received the winnings, he went ahead to divide it among the relatives and friends.
Another is told of a Canadian woman who dreamt of numbers and used them in the lottery repeatedly and eventually won. The Canadian national named madam Olga Beno said she dreamt of the lottery numbers in 1989 after which she used the same combination for 28 years before she won. Clearly her persistence bore fruit and the luck came through eventually for the cancer survivor.
Another story is of a man from Georgia who used one number combination on two tickets and the combination won the lottery jackpot. Mr. Cooke won almost half of the 70 million US dollar jackpot from the two lucky tickets.
People shouldn’t thus shy away but rather try their luck since these stories are proof that luck exists.
